Album Info:I was never much of a ConRail (as it was styled originally); in fact, it's creation led me to decrease photographing trains. It's first two years or so, however, were fun with odd locomotives in a variety of paint schemes showing up all over the system.

Although the Reading (and later Conrail) had a facility at Wayne Junction for most EMU repairs, all heavy work was done at the main railroad shops in Reading and the cars travelled in freight trains between greater Philadelphia and Reading.
