At St. John, NB, heading the Atlantic Limited on July 17, 1978. The Atlantic Limited was my favourite overnight train. It ran from Montreal to St. John via Maine and consisted (in the 1970s when I knew it) of one locomotive, one baggage car, one coach, one diner-dome-lounge car and one sleeper. A truly perfect train. |
